That’s food for thought.
This brings to mind religion specifically for me, because many people find God then feel bogged down by their past and future mistakes. There seems to be the eternal struggle of being good enough, making up for what you’ve done, atoning for mistakes.
You make mistakes, we all do. Ask forgiveness, learn from it, and move on. If it’s God, it’s forgiven. If it’s not, that’s on the other person to accept you for being 100% human, like we all are.
Now, to actually listen to my own advice. Ha.
